My Yoga..

I've been practising yoga for over 15 years and I'm still learning something new every day.  As a dedicated yogi attending many workshops and retreats I've been blessed to have learned from some truly gifted and inspiring teachers.  I started with Iyengar and Ashtanga, moving through Dynamic Flow and now immersed in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. I learned Yin Yoga with Regina Kerschbaumer Yoga Orchid Yinstitute. Regi is one of the most highly skilled Yin Yoga teachers trained by Paul Grilley practicing in the UK today.

I qualified as a Vinyasa Flow Teacher with the School of Sacred Arts in Ubud Bali "the home of yoga". The School of Sacred Arts is one of the most well-established yoga schools in Bali and has an eclectic approach to yoga, bringing in complementary practices such as Yoga Nidra, Puja, Ayurveda and Pregnancy Yoga.

I have completed 120 hours of advanced teacher training in Yin Yoga from www.yinstitute-yoga.com based on the Gilley Method.

I also have 65 hours pregnancy and post-natal teacher training from Bliss Baby yoga teacher training school; Permissive Yoga Nidra relaxation fundamentals with Uma Dinsmore-Tulli and restorative yoga Dina Cohen, and continue to follow the teachings of Angela Farmer which focus on listening to your body and revealing the hidden spaces.

My Pilates classes bring an emphasis on building strength, mobility and flexibility by following the original pilates exercises, modified for the students integrating stretches. This "yang" form of movement compliments the "yin" yoga stillness and helps with posture and strength.

All of my classes are suitable for both beginners and those with experienced. We adapt, modify and find alternatives so that we can each work with our body to improve our relationship with it, explore our inner landscapes and rediscover healthy freedom of movement.
